Eco funerals on the BBC

In December 2024, I was featured in a BBC news piece about eco funerals. The TV segment aired on BBC Look North on the morning, lunchtime, evening and late news on Monday 16th December, and was then picked up by BBC Breakfast and aired at the crack of dawn on Tuesday 17th, reaching a potential 6.5 million viewers. The online article is on the BBC website. The piece was shared on the BBC News home page and gained 375,000 views in one day. The radio version aired on BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Radio York, listen here. The BBC World Service took it up, translating it and airing it in countries as far away as India.
